    I think others have had this problem with their PT145. Do a search for that on the forum. Also, it never hurts to give Taurus' customer service department a call.

    As to your problem some 145's have had problems with the mag release if this is the case call Taurus Customer service and see if you can get it fixed. Its a great gun and many here have one. If the gun is under a year old Taurus should pick up shipping both to and from. Good luck
