You should be able to find a Taurus pistol or revolver to fit your need and style. Yes there are more expensive guns on the market, but Taurus generally preforms just as well and are less expensive. You can use the money you save to buy ammo to shoot doing what you bought a firearm for.The Government is not the cure, it is the disease!

Hello from Missouri! If you're new to handguns, a revolver might be best to start with, IMO...they're easier to clean and maintain.
