Wow! Thanks for all the welcomes everyone. Me thinks I've come to the right place.
This would be my first handgun so I have decided on the PT 809. Not sure whether to go with the full size 9 or the compact. My local gun shop(s) don't have either in stock so it will be kind of hard to handle them and get a feel for what would work best for me. At this point I'm not ready to conceal carry so size is not the issue, feel is.
Thanks again for all the warm welcomes. I'm sure I will learn a few things from this knowledgeable group.
