    Hello from Kentucky

Hi all, I'm another of those who have been browsing this forum for ages. I belong to quite a few forums and contribute very little but absorb a lot. Since retiring several years ago I bought some property where we run a small horse and chicken farm with a shooting range starting at 7 to 10 yards for defense practice and stretching out to 100 yds. We also spend a lot of time skiing on the lakes around us and have little time to spend at the computer. Being a fan of Taurus revolvers and pistols, I've gained a lot of info from this site and figured it's about time to give back some when I can. I started with a PT99AF back in 1990 or so and have accumulated many Taurus in between, some I've sold and several that I still have. I currently use a PT24/7PRO 40 cal for every day carry and a PT111 Millennium Pro or a 357 snubbie for a backup. I also have a fairly large collection of Rugers, Glocks and Springfields. I try not to be partial to any one brand.....I love 'em all! I'll drop in from time to time and add or consume info. Glad to be here now in person.

    Welcome from West Texas!

The Stickys and FAQs found at the beginning of each section, will be very helpful!
"How a politician stands on the Second Amendment tells you how he or she views you as an individual... as a trustworthy and productive citizen, or as part of an unruly crowd that needs to be lorded, controlled, supervised, and taken care of." -- Former Rep. Suzanna Gratia Hupp (TX)

"The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun." Wayne LaPierre, National Rifle Association

    Welcome from Northern Illinois!
"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new wonderful good society which shall now be Rome's, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, and more living fatly at the expense of the industrious." -- Marcus Tullius Cicero
