“I know after he saw me, I think the last shot he fired was the one he used on himself.”
Clackamas Shooter Was Confronted by CCW Holder | The Truth About Guns
I don't remember seeing this on the news...
Interesting story
I had heard through various reports, a mall patron shot and killed the shooter, so this makes sense.

Whoa, what a situation to be in. I think he did the right thing, at that moment, if he had missed and hit who was behind the perp that would had been awful. I guess it worked out as the perp took care of himself.

Initial reports I heard did mention that either someone had shot at the shooter or that people had seen another person with a gun. I bet it was that guy. In the confusion they may have just assumed he shot the bad guy.
It makes sense that if this bad guy saw someone aiming at him that he would duck for cover. Police found him down a hallway with a self inflicted gun shot. He did not want to engage in a gun fight, that would not leave him in control.
The mainstream media will never make this well known as it does not fit their narrative that guns in the hands of civilians are bad.
A person who evidently realizes the burden of CCW and the possibility that had he fired he may have missed and shot an innocent person. These are the serious decisions one must make in a split second.
The Government is not the cure, it is the disease!
So my son was correct! And I was correct when I said, "You'll never see it in the Media".
"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." -Thomas Jefferson
Here is a CCW holder that has done ALL the right things. Bravo Zulu to this young man. I could care less not hearing about this in the press, I heard about it here. Carry on.
When the SHTF, don't be infront of the fan.
