    I'm sure that Barney, or many of the good people of San Francisco, where the practice originated, can give you all of the information you need to make an informed choice.

    One word of warning, do NOT substitute a Ferret for the Gerbil. A newly minted participant tried that in, IIRC, Texas, and the resultant damage killed him.

    They were, however, able to save the ferret.

    Glad the ferret is OK. Except for possible psychological damage, of course.
