I used to have a beard - one day I had to shave it - was planning on growing it back - when a pretty young girl told me how good I looked without the face-fuzz.
Haven't had a beard since.

Kept a beard for most of 40 plus years. Shaved it for mothers birthday a couple years back. That was her birthday wish and I have kept it shaved. Will probably grow it back after she is gone. I hate to shave. It has been white for years.

A beard makes a good seal on an SCBA or gas mask impossible. A beard is a good place for lice in a combat zone where hygene isn't as easy as in your home.

I grew a beard about 20 years ago. Shaved it off 10 years ago. Both my wife and my church pastor said I looked better with the beard. I grew a beard for the second (and last) time 10 years ago.
