Bass Pro Shops Military Discount
As a long time Bass Pro Shop patron, I've liked the fact that they offer a 10% discount to military (active, retired and dependents alike) on most purchases. The thing I didn't like was it was only from the 15th to the 21st of each month. Yesterday I was surprised to find out that they are offering this discount everyday, through the end of the year. A military ID card is required to get the discount. I don't think you can get the discount on online catalog orders though.

Too bad they do not want military members in thier stores if they are leagly carring with a ccw. I will not shop there again.

It's a nice gesture, unfortunately, 10% off still keeps their prices at 5-10% over the competition.

I can't comment on the CCW part as I live in Illinois and there is no such animal here. BPS here price matches but not sure how that works if you order on line.

Each Bass Pro Shop runs their own discounts and does it differently. I called their corporate headquarters trying to find out when they offered their firefighters discount. The BPS in San Antonio only offers a 10 percent discount to firefighters one month of the year and they set that month.

The store near me will allow concealed carry. Is there some funny law in TN that might keep them from doing it maybe? The only firearms you need to check at the door are ones you are open carrying to use their firing range. Originally Posted by FLETCH689
