Military Reduction In Force (RIF)
Our Son in the Navy called last night from Guam to let us know that he got tagged by the Navy ERB (Enlisted Retention Board) for discharge, after 15 years of Service.

He just arrived in Guam 2 weeks ago, and now they tell him he is out as of next Sept. 1st.
His wife posted to FB and wrote (sarcastically) "Thanks, Obama"
Basically he said he's screwed. He was going for 20 and retirement.- Share

Look for much more of this as they force out our most experienced warriors in order to avoid paying out pensions.

Sorry to hear Sir, is there any way he can enlist in another branch say the Air Force to a similar job with out a break in service?

They always do this to the people doing the work, but I doubt theirs a highly paid officer sitting on his rear drinking coffee at a base in the middle of nowhere who has a secure job and pension headed his way. Somehow doubt he could pass the physical test, but they'll keep him before they keep real soldiers. Let's just replace trained soldiers with new trainees, hopefully they'll die because they have no experience and we'll owe him nothing at all.

One solution, that i see to at least slowing this down, is th get O out of the whitehouse..... next we will be pawning our aircraft carriers to China....
