    American Horror Story on FX

Before I begin, I know some of you Ol' fuddy duddy's will not like this show, but the more open minded hipper dudes here will understand my excitement over this new series on FX.

    American Horror Story

You can watch it now on Hulu ( Hulu - Watch your favorites. Anytime. For free. ) if you missed the first episode. I absolutely LOVE scary movies, horror flicks, zombie, haunted excursions...etc. So when I heard FX was coming out with a new series about a haunted house I could barely contain myself. Since we don't get cable t.v. I had to wait for it to come out online. I saw it for the first time yesterday. Let me just tell you that it was MORE than I expected!! I can not wait for another episode! This one will definitely keep me on the edge of my seat this fall/winter. I'm a tough critic when it comes to these type of shows because I've seen so many scary movies, that I've become a bit numb if they aren't really spooky and creepy. This one has the spook and creep that I like. It's also not for young viewers as it has some sexy smoldering scenes (which is why I didn't put a direct link to it here).

    Scary
    Spooky
    Creepy
    Sexy
    Horror
    Zombie (back from the dead)
    Suspenseful
    Good plot line

There hasn't been anything "scary" on TV or film in over 15 years...

Yep! and I suppose like most all the discussions here we could go on and on about what is really scary. I always forget who my audience is here, so please forgive me. In my opinion, it's a great new show on FX and if you like that sort of thing, check it out!

Last scary movie I saw was Silence of the Lambs, but I was 7 at the time I saw it.

When the cannon goes off during Reveille, it sometimes shakes me up...then again, our building is only about 200 meters from it.

The previews made me think it was a David Lynch show. *grin* I actually don't watch much scary stuff as I usually end up laughing at most of it.
