I don't know they make up of this town maybe some of are UK folks can help out. It looks bad.

It seems to me that there were heavy riots like this when I visited Paris in '98. There is always someone someplace who is ready, willing, and able to riot against a perceived injustice...

You see in Europe they have fewer guns....therefore more riots.
Anyone care to disagree?
And it would appear that its the rioter that have guns.
Apparently the riot started because a "perp" was shot by police after he had dropped his weapon...the family says...that was after he had fired several rounds at armed Police Officers....Shame he should have bought an uplula thingy!Last edited by rodfair; 08-07-2011 at 03:29 PM.

That's the same thought I had when I first heard about this. What happened here is the cops gave the rioters what they wanted - less police protection.
