When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

This goes back several decades. But does anyone remember the western series,
"The Guns of Will Sonnet"? That was a very good tv show, with Walter Brennan,
Jason Evers, who played his son, & Dak Rambo, who was the grandson.The first sign of intelligence is admitting one's ignorance!

I watched the reruns of The Guns Of Will Sonnet. He added a lot to Rio Bravo.

Just in case anybody is interested and has XM, on Sunday's at noon EST on channel 13 (Willies Place) there is a show called "Ranger Doug's Cowboy Corral". It's all cowboy music from the 40's 50's and 60's. They play "Old Rivers" on there pretty regular plus a lot of other stuff like Sons of the Pioneers, Riders Of The Purple Sage, Marty Robbins etc. FYI Ranger Doug and his co-host are both in "Riders In The Sky". I`m sorry, I should have mentioned that it was probably about 25 years ago or so. But, it was on a cable channel back then. Can`t remember exactly which one. I would love to see someone bring it and The Real McCoys out of mothballs though. Originally Posted by locknload
