    Years ago long before I got into guns I collected blades.

    Total length just about 7 inches, damascus steel blade 2 1/4th inches, rosewood handle. Black leather sheath. Purchased at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, 1996, from Stephen R. Burrows, bladesmith & sculptor (Kansas City, MO).

    Total length just about 11 inches, sterling silver blade aprox. 5 3/4th inches, gemsbok horn hilt with brass guard and pommel. Black leather sheath. Purchased at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, 1996, from Axen (Omaha, NE).

    Total length 9 1/2 inches, blade 4 3/4 inches. Blade forged from 1095 high carbon steel. Hilt is made from an impala horn with turquoise seperator between the horn and brass cap. There is a small opal set in the turquoise. Knife came with a hand-tooled leather sheath with a buffalo head nickle on the snap. Knife was hand made by Monte Zavatta and is a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

    Not a knife guy but I love watching Forged In Fire on the History ch. though I do have a number of nice Filet knives.

    Very nice............... especially if they are combat worthy steel. I truly love a combat ready blade with some decent length to it.
