Gun BuyBack programs - make for a good "Fence"

Anonymous gun buybacks – what are the odds any of these WEREN’T stolen?

    http://policelink.monster.com/news/a...-gift-exchange

This is one way to get rid of the goods – get good money for them and not risk prosecution.

To me, if you have an old POS handgun or shotgun laying around that would cost more than it's worth to fix, this is a perfect solution. If you had any airsoft guns laying around, that would probably work too......they're probably too stupid to realize what it is.
When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

Maybe that police department should have given those guns to other departments in other states for resale to the public; raise some funds for the police too.
And then when/if SHTF, the CA department would be crying about the public being defenseless...

Most the guns you see at buy backs I doubt could fire they are a bunch of single shot rusted 12 gages or a few beat to pieces pistols.

You see that crap on the news every day. Thats why the don't identify most guns they have no idea what it is. If the cops said it was a 9 mm they would show a AK in fact every gun the news shows is a AK or a Glock That can defeat Airline x-Ray machines because its made of plastic.
