I refer you to this thread http://www.taurusarmed.net/forums/in...?topic=18745.0 to remind you of the story of my son-in-law's 19-year-old Iraq veteran friend, Twitch.
Twitch is fully recovered, but getting a medical discharge from the Army.
Last night, he asked if he could stay with us for a couple of months while he gets the paperwork processed.
We aren't really using the bedroom that is meant to be my granddaughter's nursery so we said it was okay for him to kinda camp out in there for awhile. There is a clause in my lease that calls for an extra $100 a month for any additional adult and he has agreed to that - so has the landlord.

Since I opened up my heart and mind to the power of God and started putting things in His hands, I see this kind of thing every day.
But it took me getting knocked down to my knees to leave behind my arrogance and pride and accept God's help, which comes in the form of peace of mind, physical help from friends and family and in the case of this most recent move, help from a total stranger who could see the goodness in me and my family.

It's a hard fact of life, that one usually does have to get knocked
down to their knees before saying, "I can't do this by myself" & accepting
God's help. But that's the way it always seems to be.
