I would have to go with a Browning 20 gauge auto. Ideally with an interchangeable rifled barrel.

20 is big enough for me, and won't beat me to death.

Can't think of a better all around piece, other than a 12 gauge.

AR-15, and I say that owning a Saiga 12 guage that will handle 10 round mags and a 20 round drum with a poly choke. I would give it up before parting with the AR, but would prefer keeping both and a PT145

My answer is always the same and for the same reasons, carry lots of rounds on your person, works close up and at a distance and has lots of firepower.

I prefer the shotgun just because of the versatility, slugs for hogs and deer, shot for foul and rabbits, buck for 2 legged varmints.
