I bought mine because I like the .45LC round and the .410 option is nice for pest control, especially the
copperheads I see in my yard every year. .45LC is one of my favorite target shooting rounds even though
it can be expensive, especially if you don't reload. The buckshot option is also nice for self defense.

I bought mine initially for plinking. However, I now use it as a backup bear / moose gun (just in case I don't have my 45/70 rifle handy) using 265gr super hard cast bullets loaded to around 1000 fps. These bullets penetrate like crazy and break bones as they go.
I keep my public defender by the bed, raging judge too big...a blast to shoot though.
Chipmunks may be cute, but they are mean and destructive critters. Once chipmunks move into the neighborhood, the squirrels soon leave....
My Poly Judge stays in my bedstand, until I'm in bed, then it sits on top of my bedstand. I only carry it when I'm practice shooting.
Snakes, bears and cougars ! Works real well on snakes and I hope I never have to find out how it does on the two four legged ones! I have had some close calls though !

I'd like someone to make a "bird bomb" shell for .410. I don't know what they're actually called, but they're used to fire up in the sky, and then then blow up like a huge firecracker to disperse unwanted birds/pests. I'd totally buy those rounds.
