Like I've said before. Sometimes you get someone who knows their product and others work in grocery or paint department some where else. Still wish those grips weren't ribber though. Combats were nicer on the PD I held.
I called Taurus today and tried to get in touch with Susan and was told that she was off. I spoke to Lena about ordering a set of these grips , and her first words was ( WHERE DID YOU GET THIS PART NUMBER ) ? I politely told her that it was posted on the Taurus Armed board and that someone had got a set and posted pictures and that they looked good and I wanted to order a set for my PD. She said to hold on and when she came back she said that they were not for sale because they did not fit the PD . I then told her that someone had a set and said that they fit fine . Then she snapped back and said that they were not for sale because they did not fit. So I thanked her for her help.
I will try again when Susan comes back. Has anyone else had a problem with customer service being snotty or was it just me ?
UPDATE !!
I tried calling again after I made the first post and finally got to talk to someone named MIKE . He was very polite and said that they had the grips in stock and that I could order a set. So they are on the way ( I hope ) . I feel better about the customer service now that I talked to someone that acted like they care .

Do No Harm.......Do Know Harm.
I was thinking about that when Lena was giving me the run around about them.
So have you had a chance to shoot with the new grips yet?Originally Posted by Crousetrodomis
No I haven't. Been busy around work and the house. Hopefully soon I will though because I'm itching to shoot.

I wondered why I had not got my grips yet , so I called and finally got to talk to Susan , she checked and saw where I had placed the order but didn't know why they had not went out. To make a long story short I got my grips yesterday!!!! I installed them and could feel the difference in the way it feels in my hand. I hope to shoot it this weekend. BTW if anyone wants to talk to Susan @ Taurus her extension is 228.
My PD had the rosewood boot grips on it and the shorter ribber grips in the box. Like Crousetrodomis I like the way the ribber grips fill my hand. The wood grips are slimmer but aid in controllability (is that a word?) . Sounds like the "stealth" ribber boot grips are what I would really like.
Any update on how this shoots with the new grip?

I finally got a chance to take it out and fire a few rounds with the new grips . I started off with some Winchester # 6 's , then moved up to Federal Preminum Handgun # 4's , the last I shot is what I carry in my PD Winchester Supreme Elete which has 12 plated BB's and 3 plated cylinder projectiles . I felt that I had more controll with the bigger ribber grips than the small ones that came on it . I have yet to carry it with the new grips so I don't know how it will conceal . I am still looking for a kydex paddle holster for it .
Hope this helps.
