Mounting a scope on the judge

Has anyone ever mounted a scope to the night court judge 2 1/2"
Is there any after market mounts or would it have to be drilled on mounted be a gun smith

Artios, first off welcome to the forum! Mounting a scope to the Judge may be more trouble than its worth? It would have to be drilled and tapped for the mounting screws and with the sighting groove down the middle of the top strap???? This gun really wasn't designed to have a scope put on it if ya know what I mean! Not saying it couldn't be done though!

I was curious if the Judge was tapped ?
I couldn't really understand why it would be but didn't know as i don't own one!
the title just grabbed my attention!!!
of course after having it drilled and tapped then comes the trying to find a base mount and /or rings that would conform to the Judge top strap!

I shoot at an indoor range and my eye sight is not as good as it used to be so i thought a scope mounted judge would be a good project.
I think the 2010 models now come with a rail on top for adding accessories

I understand, if you look around at whats available I bet you can find somthing. You might want to look into one of the sights such as a HALO or such? they are made by Bushnell, Loupold etc. and are smaller than a scope. or one of the red dots? Check some of the websites and see what you can come up with? lots of options out there that may work! Might even come up with somthing you don't have to drill and tap for, just clamps on to the topstrap?
