    Taurus Judge "Public Defender"

I was at the gun show in Fort Lauderdale this morning and I saw a bunch of 709s and 4-5 Judge "public defender" models.. small grips. Look like they would be hard to shoot. They're neat looking but I don't know if I would want to shoot 410 out of them with that small of a grip.

I'd sure love to give it a whirl. I think it would be a great CCW.

You could always put a bigger grip on it.

Sure nuf, that's a great price - the one I saw locally was $450 or so.

I don't want to burst anybody's bubble here but the Judge's price tag is under the gun. The tag that say's $389 also say's .38special and belongs to the gun to the left just out of the picture!

    Re: Taurus Judge "Public Defender"

Hello, I just purchase a new public defender. I have not shot it yet, but I dont for see any problems.
One thing I dont like is the bobed hammer. It has a very strong hammer spring and hurts my thumb when I try to use it as a single action. My thumb would look like hambuger after about a dozen times doing it.
