Hello everybody! I'm Joseph Torre from Qatar. It's great to have a site like this. Previously, I am looking for a handgun for home defense back home for my mom in the Philippines and your site has helped me make the right decision. I've ordered from a friend who own a gunstore the Taurus 24/7 Pro .40 cal. Prices of such items are doubled in the Philippines compared from other countries but nevertheless, the best choice and can't wait to try it when I go home for a vacation this coming August. What captures my interest with Taurus is its safety features... unlike other pistols that doesn't have any external safeties, it's like having holding a grenade without a pin...  Grin

Other Taurus haters usually defend their stand by saying... "a gun will not go off until the trigger is pulled... " ... but what if you forgot to secure your gun and your kids played with it while your away? Would you like to take the risk? Seen and heard a lot of news about AD back home with this type of pistols...  Embarrassed  You're trying to protect your love ones but while in the process of protecting them... keep them safe as well.

Cheers.   Smiley

I have the 9mm version, on my hip as I type.  A little heavier than my PT111, but not bad to wear with the right clothes here in the US.
