Rage! and Bite Back!

« Reply #17 on: June 15, 2010, 08:37:38 AM »

Welcome Nico from Illinois.  I shoot both semi-auto pistols and a couple of revolvers.  I favor the PT1911, but the revolvers seem to stretch the ammo out a bit more.  My Dad saw action in Leyte Gulf in WWII.  Coincidentially I received a letter in the mail today from a guy in the state of Maine who says that his Dad may have served with mine in the Pacific theater and that he has photos.
Pls extend my warmest regards and thank you to your father for the sacrifice he made in our behalf.

Glad to have you aboard!

I have two Taurus revolvers, myself ( a model 85 .38 snub-nosed and a Taurus Judge Public Defender) and am very pleased with them both.

Thank you! to all for the warm welcome!
I have a little anecdote for all you Taurus Revolver Owners.  I own a Raging Bull M444SS6, my first ever Revolver.  Its not ideal for competition and Id like to own a S&W Revolver for that purpose, but still, I love my RB!  Why?  Because its the ONLY .44Magnum Revolver that I know of that you can.....wait for it.....wait for it.......DOUBLE TAP!!!  Thats right, Because of the Slab Barrel, its weight and the "V-8" Porting - I regularly Double Tap the RB! and thats with full loads 240grs, 1200fps!  I love the look people make when they hear the .44 Mag Blast and Hear it double tap! He He He!  And its pretty acurate too, at 5-7 meters I hit center mass double taps!

Anyway, Thank you again!

Welcome Kabayan from Qatar. Taurus is developing a large fan base right now in the Philippines but mostly focusing on polymer pistols. I don't know if there's a Taurus Judge seller back home but if there is... I'll be the first in line...  Grin

Oh by the way, are you staying in Manila? I'll be coming home this August for a vacation and hope to meet you at the range... I'll bring my Tauri also... hehehe... Wink
