Has anyone figured out how to adjust the trigger pull on taurus 845's.  Mine has a very long trigger pull in the single action mode.

That's the normal trigger pull for the SA/DA polymer pistols. It has a long, but nearly weightless, takeup and then a fairly crisp release. The best advice I have is to practice and you will get used to it.

It cannot be changed; It's called a two-stage trigger. As dcphoto says, it's the norm for polymer-framed pistols.

You do not have to let the trigger return full forward between shots, just far enough to reset the trigger. It shouldn't take more an box or two of ammo for your finger to "remember" where the reset point is.

Perhaps you are just used to it, so it doesn't seem so long.

Not really...
Just test dry firing it, it's got about the same pull as my FN and H&K's...

I also agree with your Wife!

If it works..............DON'T fix it!

I can remember fixing a few things I probably should have left alone.

Tim Taylor syndrome?

Something like that.  More like Home Remodeling Perfectionist syndrome, which later turned into Hotrodders perfectionist syndrome, which later turned into Gunsmithing perfectionist syndrome.

You get the idea.
