Just curious what would be a fair price for a used PT-145 in SS.  Gun shop here is a bunch of gun snobs.  I already have the blued  and I am looking at purchasing one off of a friend in SS and want to get a fair price and give him a fair price.

Just guessing.....the $325 range....Mine was $335 new 3 years ago.  Prices have  gone up, not down.

The SS model goes new for $379 around this neck of the woods.  The local gun shop would give $235 and would retail a clean used one for $299.

I was thinking around 250-300.  Man I thought I posted this in the Mil-Pro section.  Sorry can be moved.

Try $250 and see what happens, that is more than a gun shop around there will give, or have him check to see what the gun shop (the snobby one) will give him and then
give him $30-$50 more and that will be fair.

I promise you, $250 would really be a good deal for you, I paid $250 for a very lighhtly used PT145 blue 2nd gen about 4 years ago and felt like I got a bargain.

I just paid 325.00 in Illinois from a Wisconsin seller last month, no sales tax, just the 20.00 FFL.  I was going to work him, but figured it was a fair price for a good firearm.

I could buy one new from $340-$360. Depending on how fair you want to be. I'd say $275-$300 if it's clean.

Very clean.  Just sat in his truck all it's life.  I think I got him talked into $275 with both mags and a clip draw and 100 rounds of ammo.

If he is happy with 275.00 that sounds like a good deal. Shooter
