Newbie:  My first reply:  I just purchased a used 24/7 OSS tactical .45
Thanks for the information. Appears that I have 2nd generation magazines.
I am headed to the range in a couple of days to try out the pistol.  I was looking for an XDM before I came across this OSS model and had to buy it.
