Thanks NYPD, anyone know who has PT845 mags for sale? I called Taurus last week and they didn't have any. Huh?

If anyone can measure across the the grip (both front to back and the side by side)of their 845 I would appreciate it.  I have a small hand and I know it comes with three modules for sizing but I still would like to know how wide it is before I buy.  Thanks

It's no wider than a 24/7 Pro in .45 ACP.  If you can get your hands on one of those, then the 845 will be quite similar.

No good....the ambi mag catch on the 845 is in a different position than the 24/7.  Only PT 845 magazines will work in the PT 845.

I  hate to say it but "you are correct sir". Just left a local store that had both and tried them out, but did not work. Bang Head

Picked up my PT845 a few days ago. I cleaned it up and haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I have big hands and even though the medium grip came all ready on the gun, it felt really great. I changed it out for the biggest grid adapter, but it did not feel as good so I put the medium back on. Wink

Will post pics later and a range report to follow shorty afterward. Smiley

Here is mine:

I love the gun. It was between this or a Glock 21 both for $520 and I went with the Taurus.

Does anybody know what holster fits this gun? Ive heard Fobus Ru97 and anything for a Glock 29/30.  Is this correct?

The Fobus paddle holster for the Glock 29/30 fits really well.

I would avoid the Fobus RU97 until we have some confirmation on that one.  I would have to read of someone actually using that one.  Even then I did not have good luck with mine on a 9mm 24/7 Pro, so I tend to be more skeptical of that one.

You have a nice new Pistol that deserves a good fitting holster that will not prematurely wear it's finish!

Congrats on a beauty....
My cousin just bought a Holster for his blued 845.  It's an OWB by Bianchi and fits great:

It's Model 105, size 13/15

I picked up a PT845 today - first one sold in my county.

Here's some photos of it and the holster that I am re-using from my old XD45 Service, as well as mag holder for the XD45 mags. Fits like a glove!

If you're interested in reading my review of the holster and where to get it,

Just got my 845 yesterday! Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, as I live on a military installation... Can't wait though. Anyone figure out the mag situation yet? I need a couple more...
