My gut tells me that somewhere out there on the internet there is a forum similar to ours where the members are all female and their board is about shoes. And on that forum there is an eerily similar thread called 'Top 10 Reasons Women Prefer Shoes Over Men'.

Cue the Twilight Zone music or The X-Files theme depending on personal preference.

No kidding my wife has me beat in the shoe department at least 10 to 1. But men go to the shoe store alone and don't have a group of men to egg us on to buy more than one pair when we need shoes. COME on MEN, grab a twelve pack and some cigars we're off to buy shoes!

Actually I have more shoes/boots as well as clothes than my ex-gf. It was one of the various things she would complain about. I'm really glad she's my ex! Now if the housing market would swing back around so one of us could get out of this house (bought the house together ).

A word of advice, IF you are going to by a house with someone, make sure that one of you can afford the place my themselves and put it in their name! The only part I regret was signing the mortgage papers....

I feel your pain. I have had friends (husband & wife) that lived that way after divorce because neither one could afford the house, or an apartment seperately.

I just got out of that same deal. I am barely able to keep the home myself but will just take a little change in lifestyle. I was lucky enough to get a quitclaim deed signed by her. Good luck to you.
