Given the times and social media and that EVERY company now has a Facebook page... Isn't it odd that Taurus only has a fan page? Kind of shows something when there's no close connection between customers/fans and the manufacturer like the other companies have all already done.

Or is there an official page now I've missed...

Facebook is a very popular way for many to stay in touch. Yet as hard as it is for those that love it to understand many of us have no use for it. You also have still have companies that would rather invest their time and money in other directions.

It's more a sign of the times for younger generations when a company is deemed suspicious for not having a Social Network page. Anyone remember where Taurus is? How popular is Facebook in Brazil among the professional level business and people?

While many find it hard to believe, America isn't the only country on the face of the earth. Nor are American customs universally emulated. There is also the fact that the language spoken by most Brazilians isn't English. That alone limits participation with Americans, who seem quite willing to point out every nuance missed by a "foreigner".

Social Networking media are still spreading, often in forms that we don't recognize. Taurus may not have a Facebook Page, but it hardly needs one, either.

Aahh FaceBook. The biggest waste of time ever invented. I quit several months ago. They have all the information they want anyway. Who are you? Who are your friends? What do you buy? What do they buy?
