The other thing is that in my head I don't feel much different than I did when I was 25 or 30. But my body will let me know when my head over rides my keister. I don't see as well as I used to, and some of my parts are pretty well worn, but when I'm talking with someone half my age I tend to forget that we are significantly different in age. I don't feel old mentally, and until a couple of years ago I didn't feel old physically. It's nice to know I've got company! We have a great group of members here and I feel privileged to be one of them!

So just why the heck should I be in this thread. I am a mere child, or was that childish? Of course Skiff is trying to catch me, but it that tree ever fell on me, I would not have to be buried, as I would fit in a matchbox???

I too am glad there is a wide range of ages. being newer to shooting i get the benefits of the experienced older shooters, and don't feel bad asking questions maybe the younger crowd has not asked yet

My gosh, I am so pleased at the response of "mature" individuals and the "youngsters" in the group. I simply wanted to thank you all and this is so pleasurable to read. Y'all are a great bunch. Wouldn't a Taurus reunion at Taurus HQs be awesome! They should foot the bill, lol!

I don't feel the years and they pass so fast as you get older, my boys are now 38 and 40 and I do enjoy showing them how to fix things as was said. Like the song goes..." I'm not as good as I once was but I'm as good once as I ever was..... 1948 ......Martymobilia 38super

You catch the drift...and you're right, it's nice to be amongst "Ole Farts" who still ride motorcyles, fly airplanes and can work rings around generation Xers.

And above all, have thick skin AND a sense of humor.
Red Skelton was my favorite show when I was a kid.
I also knew a few people with "bomb" shelters and remember duck & cover drills at school.
