Gun Control Ad During the Superbowl.

I just read this on another forum.

The mayors of Boston and New York will air a Gun Control Ad during the Superbowl.
Here is the link to the story.

    And so it continues...

It says that the commercial will only be shown in the northeast....I'll bet Best Buy is lobbying for it to be shown everywhere, including the south. Can you imagine how much money they could potentially make, all of us southern boys shooting their TV sets when they see that commercial?
When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

They show that in The South and it will just get everybody thinking they better go get that AR15 before the next election. Gun sales will spike.

And over there to the right, and to the left, just outside of the camera's view, will be their armed security details.

Gun Control... Around here gun control is proper aiming & technique and not doing anything stupid while you are shooting!

My TV is safe then, not being in the northeast! I'm not gonna be watching it anyway, the Steelers or Texans aren't in it and the Cowboys aren't in it (I'd only watch to see Jerry Jones team loose! )

Yeah a Steelers fan from Cowboy's country, I know... I know... I've never been quite right!

How ridiculous is that? I wonder what everyone would say if the NRA had an ad -- family-friendly even, during the Superbowl?

Here's an Idea.Let us get together and have a Mayor from Texas and one from Tenessee do a gun control commercial on hickock45's range.

Except this commercial will be broadcast nationwide and in New Jersey, New York, Illinois, California,Hawaii, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

How much does it cost to run a 30 sec spot during the Superbowl?

Who is paying for that ad?

I heard on the news the other night that a 30 sec spot during the SuperBowl costs up to 3.5 million dollars!

Hmmm... makes ya wonder who is paying for this doesn't it! Sure would be great to see an NRA rebuttal commerical.
