December Handgun Shootout - I would like suggestions

Now that it looks good for a monthly handgun shootout, I would like to get some input on the rules and targets to make it fair for everyone.
Targets posted at bottom. I have .pdf and .jpg
I tried to find targets that use as little black ink as possible.
Should it it be 1 or 2 handed standing?

    Tentative rules:

    Handgun Shootout Rules

    Air Pistol Shootout Rules

Any air pistol, spring, pump or CO2 powered, BB or pellet, any caliber.
Target is D2 Air Pistol Target at 5 yards (15 feet).
5 rounds each target, as many as you want to shoot.
Maximum score is 50, in case of a tie tightest group wins.
Post a pic of the target you want to submit with the center to center measurement with an arrow between the holes.
Post a pic of the handgun used (optional)
    Post what pistol was used.

    Rimfire

    Caliber .17 or .22
Target is a D2 Pistol Target at 25 feet.
5 rounds each target, as many as you want to shoot.
Maximum score is 50, in case of a tie tightest group wins.
Post a pic of the target you want to submit with the center to center measurement with an arrow between the holes.
Post a pic of the handgun used (optional)
    Post what pistol was used

    Centerfire

Any caliber handgun (revolver or pistol)
Target is a B-27 center at 15 yards (45 feet).
5 rounds each target, as many as you want to shoot.
Maximum score is 50, in case of a tie tightest group wins.
Post a pic of the target you want to submit with the center to center measurement with an arrow between the holes.
Post a pic of the handgun used (optional)
    Post what handgun was used.

OK. Let me know what if anything we can do to make it "fair and balanced".

I think it is simple enough at this point; lets keep it simple and fun. I want to give it a try, only problem for me is to many people at the range on weekends so I am stuck at the 25 yard line. Going to try and take a week day off to go shooting. Man I hate when day light savings time ends, range closes at sunset, after I get off from work.

I gave the airgun target a try to see if it will do, I guess it's OK.

Will all these targets fit on a piece of regular 8 X 11 printer paper?
If not where do we get the targets?
If we aren't able to get the targets, what about best group?
    Not everyone has printers.
    just my 2 cents
    I'm in either way.

Just curious. What's your center to center measurments?
My last in the garage was 1 1/2 inch C/C. with .177 pistol.
Got interupted for turkey and didn't post pics yet.
Home made target. No printer paper yet.

If you are using an airsoft gun for the 15 foot target, I'd suggest further away for a pellet pistol. Even a decent steel BB pistol will shoot more accurately than a typical airsoft, let alone what a pellet pistol can do.

    Yea.
I think 25 feet with pellet pistol. especially with a rifled barrel. Altho we can't do 20 different shoots. 15 for plastic. 20 for bb. 25 for lead pellet.
Like you said simple and fun.
Personally I think we should skip air soft. Not really a gun IMO.

Ok here's my November entry for .177 lead pellet at 15 feet.
Unless we changed it to 25 feet. If there is a post that changed it, I haven't seen it.
If it's OK I had to make my target this time. I'll have my printer fixed by December.
If this won't work then I'll just wait for December shootout. It is a lot of fun shooting in my garage anyway.
I wasn't able to get to the range for the Pistol center fire shoot.

    Something I didn't consider.
Not all air pistols are created equal.
They go from ~300FPS on up.
So of course the higher FPS will have an advantage at 15 feet.
So how 'bout less than 400FPS at 15 feet and more than 400FPS at 25 feet?
But still in the same competition?
