Frankly, I thought all the 'straight-shooting' sheriffs were in Arizona.

If we had more sheriffs like this we wouldn't have to push as hard for "Shall Issue" legislation in our state legislatures.

That county is just 45 miles from me and thats the county i was born in. I like what this guy has to say!
This guy is basicaly saying he would rather scumbags be shot and killed then arrested and sent to prison.
The more people that carry responsibly the safer we will all be.

The sheriff is 100% correct, the police cannot protect you, incarceration does not rehabilitate a criminal, you are responsible for your own security, and a firearm is the best tool for the citizen to protect themselves from the criminals.
