Not everyone carries sem-autos. Not everyone thinks they're going to get involved in a gang war.
    Taurus 82 (4 inch barrel, 6 rounds)
    Marlin 60 (18 inch barrel, 18 rounds)
    SW22 Victory (5.5 inch barrel, 10 rounds)
(this space reserved for future purchase)

They (NRA) have upset me a lot the last few years and as such, I have let my membership lapse. I support GOA, SAF, & CCRKBA.

I'm pretty confident that my 5 shot Taurus 605 .357 magnum will do just fine for the places that go. Will they allow a Bersa .380 Thunder with a 7 round mag? I would carry my Glock 40 10mm with a 15 round mag but it's hard to conceal during the summer..

    Amen to that.

    EXACTLY
they also don't allow muzzle loaders, no Obsolete weapons of any kind, that's the reason for the no revolvers or 1911's. plus shooting all the black powder from these old guns makes the range to smoky!!!----

When the NRA starts playing the same BS games the Gun grabbers do, or politicians for that point, it's time to look for alternatives. I belong to GOA as the NRA left a sour taste in my mouth a few years ago.

Anyone ask the NRA directly? Or if they are considering classes for the other types of weapons? I can think of several legitimate reasons for the rule.

Wonder if low capacity impedes class flow. Or maybe they got tired of treating newbies for cylinder gap burns.

So if capacity is one of the main issues I can't take the course with my semi-auto PT709 due to its limited capacity?
