With me, ammo is like ice cream, never any left so why keep it in a box?

Parabellum—Latin for "prepare for war," from the phrase, Si vis pacem, para bellum, meaning "If you want peace, prepare for war." Kind of Georg Luger's version of Colt "peacemaker."

When he was younger my father could eat a whole box of ice cream by himself. He can't do that anymore. When I was younger I could eat a whole pizza by myself. I can't do that anymore either.

When I go shooting firearms I usually just use those blue walmart cloth bags. One for each caliber.
When I go shooting non-firearms I use large plastic tubs. The ammo is a lot bigger or there is a lot of accessories required.

I've got ammo all over the house. Multiple ammo cans, cardboard boxes, and just in boxes loose on shelves. I have been collecting cardboard boxes to stash ammo in to clear out a shelve in the utility room so I can fit a new freezer in there.

Shotgun ammo is a problem....it's bulky. I think I have enough 20 gauge dove loads to last every dove season for the rest of my life. Similar for 12 and 10 gauge steel shot for my waterfowling. Oh, well, better too much than not enough I suppose. Just my shotgun ammo would fill that file cabinet up.

Same here, ammo probably in every room except the bathrooms, oh wait forgot the master bathroom has two 100 round boxes of 12 gauge stashed in the cabinet under the sink behind the towels. Keep saying I need to get an ammo locker, just don't know where to put it at the moment.

I do have a very nice collection of firearm related stickers to decorate an ammo locker when I get one.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.
