Just wondering if anyone has installed the Crimson Trace grips on their PT1911. I bought a set from someone who took it off their Taurus PT1911 Homeland Defender gun. I just installed on my Kimber because I understand the ambi safety on the Taurus needs to be shortened before installing.

Any advice?

By the way, so far the Taurus shoots every bit as well as the Kimber. I couldn't be happier with any of my 3 Taurus handguns. PT99AF, 650 CIA and the PT1911. Don't let anyone tell you Taurus is substandard.
