I ran into this story today while looking around for steel case ammunition specifications. Got started reading and couldn't quit. This is a hard core test, free from speculation and anecdotal "evidence". Lots of good information for AR15 shooters.
Thanks for posting that article. VERY informative, and scientific. Happily, I have lots and lots of Lake City brass ammo, and not planning on shooting it all through one rifle.

Great writing and unbiased testing from the LuckyGunner folks! Would have loved to be one of the people doing all that shooting... in the name of science, of course.
Their conclusion is also spot on: choose how much you're willing to spend in terms of money and time, then go with it.
Spend more for brass but less on maintenance, or less on steel but get more shooting.
