I was Eyeballing those tactical shotguns just the other day, but i bought another handgun. If I'm going to buy a shotgun it'll be one that I can hunt grouse with. Awesome shotguns though.
Right Meow?
I have a Benelli Nova pump action 12ga. next to the bed. It's primary function is as a bird gun, but it works for home defense as well. I have the 7-shot extension on it with a tactical flashlight when it's sitting at home. By the way, the Benelli Nova is probably the best pump shotgun I've ever used.

Most basic hunting shotguns can have a short barrel swapped in for home defense use.Originally Posted by Petrie
Due to the layout of my house I don't keep a long gun ready to go. If I did have my shotgun out it's a Mossberg 500 Persuader (20" 7+1 mag).
