What do you guys think it should go for? I'm looking for a rifle, and would love to buy a Taurus product. Maybe we could add a little prssure to have the price adjusted for loyal customers?

I saw that earlier this evening. Nothing further on the TaurusUSA site about it, so I Googled and found the Taurus Export site. It was listed under Police, so maybe it's not available to us... just like the Taurus Brazillian site has some interesting stuff that we can't get here (full autos, grenade launchers, etc.).

    Ogle some stuff here: http://taurusexport.com/catalogo_en.pdf

I too love the Taurus line of pistols and revolvers, but I am sticking to my Hi-Point 9MM Carbine also. Wouldn't pass up a chance to shoot one of these though!

This has me wondering about the Beretta CX4. I never thought about where they are mfg. but it must be here in the US as they come with "hi-cap" magazines in the same configuration as matching pistols. If they are imported from Italy I wonder if the next batch will be effected by these restrictions? I'm glad I bought mine now to avoid possible restrictions!

Will see how things work out. I want the 30 round magazines for that puppy.

Taurus did get the weight down from the 9 pounds plus that were advertised some time ago.

I do think they should really change the stock to folding and not have all the "holes" that are in it now.

Not for me. I would rather have a HiPoint 9mm.

I can think of a few other carbines with half the price...
    I don't think it's a "rushed release".
My understanding is that it's been shipped to other countries for a couple of years. Just "new" in the U.S.A.

I agree with other posters, $900 is way too much. I would rather have an ar15 for that price.

Well, IMO, the price is not out of line with other 9mm Carbines, the Beretta CX4 is $849 (MSRP $915) at Walmart. Don't know if it comes with the 17 or 32 round mag.
If WW sold it, it might be a bit cheaper.
