I don't know if you have any Dick's sporting goods stores near you but they have been running sales on Remington that make the per box price close to Federal. They also have case prices on other ammo they make them a pretty good deal.
I've been to 5 Walmart stores in the last few days, 2 in Conway, 3 along the Grand Strand from North Myrtle Beach to South Myrtle Beach and found exactly ONE box of Federal 9mm.

It's like that around here from time to time. Just wait it out and the shelves will be full before you know it.
Find out from there guy at the sporting goods desk when they get their trucks in. Mine gets them in the morning so I swoop in at about 9:30, and clean em out when it starts to dry up like that. If there can be said one good thing about shortages in (9mm particularly) ammo ....... When you have multiple calibers then you can usually find at least some of the calibers that you have, and give those guns some love too!! Gotta love the wheel gun calibers like .38, and .357Mag.
IF GUNS CAUSE CRIME THEN ALL MINE ARE DEFECTIVE
I do usually check out Wally World for ammo when we go there, but often find that L&M Supply the local farm and home store is usually cheaper and maintains a good supply even of the 16ga. shotshells. Being a small seven store chain here in Northern Minnesota they are very competetive.
The Government is not the cure, it is the disease!
Ask the manager what the deal is on restock - they have trucks coming in constantly. I went to Gander Mtn. last night and stocked up. You can walk right up to the ammo and select at will -- it's great.
I don't know what you guys are paying for brass cased 9 mm but Ammunition to Go generally has a brass cased( reloadable) 124 grain FMJ for for about 9.79 per box, if you buy 500 rounds it drosp to like 9.59 per box, 1,000 rounds it drops to 9.49 per box.
Now for me here in Georgia shipping on 10 boxes runs about 14 bucks, and of course I pay no sales tax on it as Ammunition to go is in Texas.
so i can actually get the ammo delivered o my door cheaper than i can buy it at Wally World here.
I think right now the ammo is aquila , but it changes from that to PMC, S & B, etc.
