Tested Remington 22Subsonic .22LR vs. CCI MiniMag .22LR

Wanted to see if subsonic ammo was any quieter.
I don't think it was that much. You decide.

Want quiet? CCI .22 CB shorts. They hit a lot harder than an air gun and are quieter from a rifle. I've hunted and taken squirrel with 'em, plenty good 'nuf for that!

The Savage can only use Long Rifle.
Walmart had CB Short at $8.47/100 rounds.
So I bought what they had, the Remington.
Going to keep looking for the CB Long.

If you shoot many shorts or cb or bb caps in any .22, just make sure you clean the chamber really well, or it will cause hang ups when you shoot .22 L.R. in it in the future!

    I could tell a difference.
Texas is neither southern or western. Texas is Texas!

I could, but it didn't seem like much.
Also I need to get a real video camera.
My Photosmart E427 can only do 320X240 at 30FPS in mono audio.

I also noticed that they are quieter in my single shot than they are in the semi.
Measured the barrels from breech to muzzle.
    Savage is 21"
    Stevens is 23.5"
The rounds sounds like a loud hand clap from the Stevens.
