    Israeli Surplus 9mm ammo ???

I picked up 550 rounds of this 9mm ammo , The guy I bought it off of said he "thought" it was Russian. Well I knew that wasn't the case , Because it wasn't Russian writing on the box. They came in boxes of 25 , and after some research I came to the conclusion that they were Israeli surplus ammo from 1976. I tried my best to translate the box word for word , but could only piece a couple things together. I know its 9mm ( 9x19 ) , and I know its from 1976. I think it might be " uzi ammo" if that makes any sense. The gentleman I bought these off of said that 4 out of 5 of his 9mm pistols would fire it , But his Glock would not. (I think his Glock might not be striking the primers hard enough).
So I went to the range and put 200 rounds though my PT92 of this cheap Israeli ammo. Saying its junk is an understatement. Pretty much every round had to be striked twice, but out of 200 rounds only 2 were complete failure to fire. They were extremely dirty and I had to do extreme clean and oil throughout. I picked up 550 rounds for around 30 bucks , so I wasn't expecting the greatest , and it does fire. ( OK for the range).

If anybody knows anything about these rounds , any info would be great. Maybe a full translation?? (LOL) , Should I throw them away , or you think its ok to fire the rest of them off?

I have taken some pictures of the small boxes they were in , Im going to attach them So you can see the box , My camera isn't
the greatest so I cant really get a picture of the rounds worthy enough of putting on the site. but the markings are: T Z 76 ( instead of 9mm Luger)

Some time ago, there was a lot of imported Israeli sub-gun ammo. It's loaded to +P++ pressures. If that's what you have, only use it in really stout 9x19 pistols.

550 rounds for $30. Heck just shoot it up at the range.

It reads T Z 76 , And Im pretty sure it is the sub-machine gun ammo , I found only one other site wear there was a picture of the box very similar to what I have and they stated it was " uzi ammo "

Think its safe firing it out of a PT92 ? It handles the first 200 pretty well

    תת מקלע means submachinegun
So it is, in fact, submachinegun ammo. So it is high pressure ammo. I don't think I'd fire it in a pistol I cared about. Now a carbine, on the other hand...

Nice , Thanks so much for the translation. Maybe I should just keep it as a conversation piece.

Could you feel the +P++. Heck, I would run it through my HP995 for you if you would like.
