A citizen CCW is not a LEO. For a robbery, I cover myself and loved ones. Until the BG points at me my weapon will not bark. So he did the right thing.

A good outcome all around: people's lives saves, two punks safely residing in the Graybar Hilton. I would be willing to bet the perps have a history of this type of activity. Hopeful, this will send a chill into the criminal element.

If you look at the video from the local T.V. stations it was apparent that several signs banning ANY kind of weapon were posted.

In the T.V. video the shooter claims that Allah willed it. Not those exact words, but if you listen to what he said that's how it comes out.

It turns out it was a empty rifle the actors wee using, but there is no way for him to know that.

It might be just my opinion, but it seemed like a "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME" persona. There were vidoes of him giving statements to the press.

It's been said many,many times by the news media in the Milwaukee metro area ever since CCW was attempted that if a store or business posts no weapon signs that the business is liable for any consequences that happen if a criminal shoots anyone.

I wish the local news stations would get things right. Some of the reports are the actor had a rifle and others say it was a "sawed off shotgun" whatever that means in news parlance. Some are the real thing, but most aren't from around here.

A Mossberg 500 with a pistol grip only is considered a "sawed off". "Riot guns" have been noted to be in that classification.

What gets me is that the local Milwaukee stations have had reporters go to gun ranges, learn to shoot, and make excellent reports. Yet the media cannot get gun designations right even though they have the Internet and info at their finger tips. Yes, the internet has its flaws.
