usually iwb / sometimes i opt for smaller pocket pistol.....depends on the trip, the day and the weather, wear my vest most times , so really no different than any other time.
As I get older and my eyes get oldre with me, I see the madness behind crimson trace.....

Asked my stock broker what I should be investing in .... he replied.....canned goods n ammo ......

I show my Kimber to my friends..... what I do not show is the Taurus in my cc holster.....

I carry in a DeSantis fanny pack when riding. I wear all synthetic riding gear, so the black nylon pack just disappears. When I get off the bike, I can remove my jacket without worrying about anyone seeing my gun. The weapon is quick and easy to access and nobody ever gives the pack a second look. Now for gratuitous bike pics (yes I'm carrying):

I just got my chp few days ago and so havent got to try my rig on the bike yet. The biggest reason for getting my chp though was the bike. I have a cbst and im hoping it and my 45 get along well on the bike.

If you ride, you probably should learn to cross draw left handed. I use an IWB holster for my 1911 and draw with left hand when on the bike.

I don't ride a Harley, therefore I have a throttle instead of a volume control. I will use my throttle so long as I'm on the bike. I will NEVER try to shoot off the bike. JMHO, I guess, suit yourself. MY KLR ain't as fast as my SV650, but heck, I can jump curbs and go through ditches, find a good place with cover, stop and shoot it out if that is deemed necessary. I don't try to shoot while riding. I have skills, mind you, AMA pro road racer in a former life, multiple CMRA, TMGP, WERA regional championships, and flat tracker, but I will use those skills on the bike and not try to fumble around with a handgun when I need my hands on the controls.

If you guys were to ride to a big rally like Laughtin, Daytona, Sturgis or Laconia, carrying open is not an option. Your travels will take you through too many states that don't allow that, hell they may not even allow concealed carry. A prospect from one of the outlaw MC's that needs to earn his colors, he is most likely wearing body armor so that "little gun" ain't going to do you much good either. At least a .45 will knock him down! Try to shoot while riding? You have been watching too much TV.
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are out numbered by the people that vote for a living

"A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government." - George Washington
