    Theis Holsters

Yesterday I received my Theis holster in the mail.

For those not familiar with the company it is a leather/kydex hybrid similar to the MTAC, Cross Breed, SHTF, ect.

The appeal that made me order fom the company where:

-Great reviews, especially raving about the excellent customer service
-7-10 day time from order to delivery
-Price, $50 for cowhide and $60 for horsehide.

I got my holster 10 days from ordering exactly, Im guessing something like a glock would have a faster turn around time since they are probably more popular than the PT709. Still 10 days for a handmade custom holster is excellent!

Upon opening the package the holster looked great! I immediately tried it on with my dickies work pants I was wearing, without a belt, and it felt so comfy for a holster. The metal studs holding the kydex on where not even slightly noticeable, and the horsehide felt pretty soft against the skin. The combat cut is perfect, and even without a belt it was pretty solid.

I was on my way to work when It came so that was all I got to see before work. As soon as I came home I put it on with a proper belt and was able to wear it for a few hours before bed. I was mostly lounging on the couch watching a movie, and it was definitely comfortable enough. I noticed it was there, but it wasnt too uncomfortable I had to remove it. For daytime where though it is perfect. Im 5"7 130 lbs and even in just a t shirt Its hard to see a gun unless your looking.

All in all its a great holster, comfortable, fast shipment time, great price, and very solid.

I would highly recomend, I went from a Sof-Tuck with a TCP to a 709 with this and this is waaaaaaaaay more comfortable.

I also have a Tommy Theis holster for my pt740. Love it. I had the same experience. Outstanding customer service, fast turn around time, and a very high quality product. Very comfortable. I couldn't be happier!

Thanks for posting that. I had never heard of him before. Kholster and Crossbreed better take notice: low price + quick turnaround time.
I'm not paranoid. They really are out to get me.

Weeee!!! Another excuse to show off my Theis holsters.

I wear the 709 almost every day and it is very, very comfortable. It's hard to believe Tommy can sell these things for $60.00 (which includes shipping) when his competitors charge so much more.
