My belly IS a band. After a couple bowls of good chili, it's the rhythm section, with a tuba accompaniment.

I have the NRA belly band and love it, Carry a pt740 all the time .It has put a stop to my ever growing holster collection. I don't find it hot at all .Very easy to put on (like a favorite pair of socks) . It will hold 2 pistols and 2 spare clips. Three of my friends who CC ,after trying my belly band also have bought one. It holds the pistol very close to the body, No printing . And i think i paid $29.95 for it . MONEY WELL SPENT !! IMO..

Have not tried it myself, saw one at a gun show, seemed decent.

I use one quite frequently. put it over t shirt and then cover with button shirt. Easy to get to, even when seated, as in car. I carry j frames or small autos. If I think i need to I will unbutton one button on shirt. Shirt can be tucked in or out, no diference.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago on eBay for less than $18 including shipping. It looks just like the NRA model linked above in Fish's post.

I have two- a black one and a whhite one- the black is 'Original Belly Band' from the GlockStore. About 4" wide..the white is an Ace Bulldog, about 6" wide. Only problem I have with them is the velcro- the corners stick into your belly- if I wear my t-shirt under the band it's ok, but if all I'm wearing is a t-shirt- which works fine by the way, fully concealed- then it gets kinda irritating. When the velcro isn't bothering me I can forget I'm wearing it..pretty good stuff if you ask me.
