    Bad habits...

I think we all have a bad habit or two when it comes to our concealed carry practices. I would like to hear the other men and women on this forum list bad habits that they have developed.

I will tell you my bad habits and you tell me yours.

I hope that by sharing our bad habits, maybe we can prevent others from acquiring them...

My bad habit is not making sure my gun is not peeking out from under my shirt... I don't always wear long enough shirts and sometimes the tip of the barrel shows

My bad habit is carrying without my CCW. I carry in my office and at home. when driving i put it away in the console. I guess the bad habit would be forgetting to put it away immediately... (the rest is legal i believe).

A good IWB holster will solve that problem.

I don't have any bad habits, gun carrying related that is.

Gee...I think I've been doin' it right. I have been known to take a firearm where I'm not supposed to, but haven't made a habit of it.

I have carried where I probably shouldn`t, but that is all I can think of. Once I was carrying and I was quite away from home when I realized I had forgotten my wallet.

NOT carrying, 100% of the time.
Desperately clinging to guns and religion.

In two years I have forgotten my permit maybe twice. Not too bad, but it made me uncomfortable the whole time. In two years I have gone out without carrying maybe twice (for good reasons). Not too bad.

    Re: Bad habits...

As posted in another thread in the past, just recently I realized that I had been carrying my pistol for two months on an expired license. That won't ever happen again, lol.

I have the same problem, in fact I was just thinking about cleaning my LCP. I did get the lint out of it a couple days ago but it could use a good scubbin'.
