One nice thing about being able to conceal carry and have at least a modicum of training teaches you to be able to react in an instant. In this case it was the perfect answer to make the holier than thou DB backpedal and apologize for being said DB. Only ever been noticed once carrying at work and I was met with "so what are ya carrying?" I stepped into my office, cleared the pistol and showed them. They were carrying a sig 939 and preferred the more refined look and feel of my Taurus.

I choose the gun as the instrument of peace. When peace no longer seeks me I become the instrument.

The Arizona answer: "How bad you want to find out?"

Seriously, it's no body's damn business if you carry or not. If you are obeying the law... they can pound sand.

Such nosy people, though to be honest I still can't decide whether overly-interested is better or worse than apathetic.

    That said, quick thinking there.
I carry to defend my loved ones; Desensitizing and educating are secondary & tertiary reasons. Anything else is unintended.

“Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place.” - Frederic Bastiat

"When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle." - Edmund Burke

Here in Montana, it don't matter two shakes if someone see it or not. I've never been asked, as I believe concealed means concealed.

My usual answer is , "Nope, just happy to see you".

The only real problem for me is when a small kid ask. Then I'm at a loss of what to say.

Did I ever mention I hate small kids being near me the same as small breakable items?
