Open Carry, Concealed Carry and Crazy Carry

    Reasons I open carry
    1. To raise awareness of the legality of open carry in Michigan.
    2. To raise awareness that good people carry guns.
    3. As a deterrent to people so that I won't be targeted.
    4. Because it's more comfortable than CC in most situations.
    5. Because I can and want to.
    6. Because it's perfectly legal.
    7. Self defense
    8. I carry a gun as a status symbol, it says my status is I am nobody's victim
    9. Because it pisses off liberal anti-gun types.

I open carry on most days, not to scare people but because it is more comfortable and just might keep someone from committing a violent act in the presents of an armed person. Being a Texan until 2 years ago and having a valid Texas CHL I really don't understand why the powers that be in Texas don't allow their citizens the option of open carry. In Mississippi it is a Constitutional right.

In every state, it is a Constitutional right, and Mississippi is one of the few states that honors the Constitution.

    I found the article interesting.
She is clearly worried about misfits having guns.
But she doesn't seem to worry about the same people voting or driving cars.

The last two words in the title of the link say it all; "Bloomberg view."
