I was surfing youtube, as I do often searching for other informative info and ran into this video. It's really cute, She put together on for woman and one for the guys on how to get your Lady to the range. I'll post them both.
FateofDestinee has some crazy videos; she also has some pretty good ones. I like her different approach! Yes I am a fan of hers.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

Women On Target -
This is a great program....I have been allowed to help out, here in Montana for a few years. The excitment, energy and friendships built is amazing! We regulary have ladies from the late teens to well into their 70's......its just a hoot and great fun. Our group puts on a lunch for the ladies as well....its cool to hear all the conversations that is generated over the lunch.....talking, bragging and laughing about the first half of the session and wanting to chow down...so as to get back to the range.
Ours WOT is May 11th and Aug 19th of this year and the ladies get to go through all three firearms during the day (rifle, shotguns and pistols).....We are a small group of instructors/helpers so are limited to amount of ladies that can participate for now. But more and more ladies are wanting to help after they go through the course....and that is great....because allows a larger pool of instructors, which in turns allow more women to participate.
I love the ideal of a Ladies day out!.....learning, shooting and breaking bread together.....for ladies....taught by ladies.....
As a male, I think I am jealous...
I would encourage all of you ladies....if you get a chance.....and are able to go through the course....you will have a great time....well....at least we do here in Montana.

old Cavalry motto -"Draw Me Not Without Reason...Sheath Me Not Without Honor"
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass....It's learning to dance in the rain!
That sounds like fun!
I found this website list of female friendly firearms places. I was pleasantly suprised to see one in my neck of the woods (sorta). I am also a bit jealous that North Carolina has a zombie shooters association of America. Now that just sounds like a fun group to belong to!

BTW, the entire Girls guide to gun's website is full of great info.
MissKitty, I slip in and out of this section from time to time, and I want to commend you for the work you're doing here.
Keep on "keeping on"!
