Very interesting I have been trying to figure out what I want I have a Taurus 738 TCP so not too big I am a 5'11 and about 250 so I want something comfortable I am thinking IWB will work best for me.

You might want to take a look at Harwell Holsters. I got an IWB called a 'Clip N Go' for my 709 Slim, it fits both the gun and me perfectly, the belt clip has an adjustable cant. You can select your gun from their drop down box. REally a comfy holster. Another comfy IWB that is made well is one from Tenessee Holster Company, it is all leather, has an adjustable cant. Pic is of my 709 Slim in the Harwell holster, really made well, fit is perfect.

So I just bought my PT111 Mil Pro (stainless) yesterday, and I've been trying to figure out my options for carrying. I've done a lot of online research, but haven't gotten a chance to find out what anyone else with the gun uses. I'm waiting for my concealed carry permit, but VA is an open carrying state as well so I wanted to figure out the best way to open carry until my permit is active.

I was at a gun show yesterday and the holster salesman I spoke with immediately after purchasing my gun told me that the gun I chose was too big for a woman, and that carrying around the waist is a bad idea; I should be carrying a much smaller gun in a bra holster... I didn't like his attitude, feeling like I should be trying to find a holster for the gun I like, not trying to buy a gun around a holster. I can't imagine carrying in my bra anyways, I really think I'm going to be a waistband carrying kind of girl.

So here I am, trying to find the best ways to open carry AND conceal. Any suggestions, personal experience? I realize that conceal carry may be more difficult being a woman... But that it shouldn't be impossible.

You should have told the man, " I tried to put my gun in my bra one time but and found out my bra was already full of me."
" Hold on Mr Bad man until I can lift my shirt clear up or pull it clear down to get my gun. " I happen to carry mine in a ccw purse at this time but that isn't for everyone.

When my wife got her CHL I let her try my Theis Holster for my PT145 with her PT111. I had to buy her one for hers to get mine back.

I'm still shopping for my daughter for Christmas, working on the gun, but the CC options seem really limited. Ran across a new brand, Tru Carry. Wasn't there a couple of weeks ago. Things look really nice, anyone know about them?
